Call for Abstracts for EPSSE 2026 is now open!

We invite submissions on the philosophy of emotions, widely construed, for:

  • Individual papers (up to 500 words)

  • Group panel sessions (a summary of the panel up to 250 words and abstracts for each speaker up to 500 words)

  • Book symposia (a summary of the book symposia up to 500 words and a list of proposed commentators)

  • Any more creative options that you have in mind (we recommend that you get in touch with us to discuss any alternative formats that you are interested in proposing)​

Please submit abstracts for anonymous review here.

In order to allow as many speakers as possible to have a slot, we ask our members to only submit once to the conference (with the exception of participating as a commentator in a book symposium, which you can do alongside submitting an abstract for a presentation or participating in a group panel).

Important Dates

  • Latest date to submit abstracts: 1st December 2025

  • Notification of reviewers' decision: 23rd January 2026

  • Early bird registration deadline for speakers: 1st March 2026

  • Late registration deadline for speakers: 31st March 2026

  • Pre-conference workshop: 23rd June 2026

  • Annual Conference: 24th - 26th June 2026

Estimated Fees

Membership and registration fee (note these figures are based on estimates of the catering costs and so are subject to change):

 

Early bird registration: open until 1st March 2026

  • 200 € for faculty members

  • 120 € for students

​

Late registration: open until 31st March 2026

  • 250 € for faculty members

  • 140 € for students

​

Please note that the registration fee includes lunch and coffee breaks but it does not include the conference dinner.
