Location

The conference will take place at University of Tartu Lossi 3 study building, 51003 Tartu, Estonia (https://virtualtour.ut.ee/en/lossi-3-study-building?i=sg6). Please see the timetable for the specific room numbers.

Please find attached the annual conference timetable, do note that there have been a few amendments made to accommodate a few personal clashes. Presenters do please check the time of your talk!

Please find attached a book of abstracts for the annual conference and the pre-conference workshop.

 

Presentation timings

As noted previously, this year we have decided to allocate each talk 45 minutes (with the exception of the panels, who can arrange their timeslot however they would like best). We suggest that people do a 25-30 minute presentation, with the rest left for Q&A.

 

Reception drinks (Thursday)

Our hosts in Tartu have very kindly arranged for some reception drinks and food on the evening of Thursday 15th June at the University of Tartu Botanical Garden, Lai 28. We'd be delighted if you joined us for this to celebrate our 10th Annual Conference!

 

EPSSE Annual General Meeting

Our EPSSE AGM is scheduled for Friday 16th June at 16:45. Please do join us as we will be discussing not only the general business of the society but also the appointment of the next EPSSE committee and the launch of our EPSSE journal, Passion.

 

Conference dinner (Friday)

Our annual conference dinner will take place at 7.30pm on Friday 16th June. Please remember that the price of the dinner is not covered by the conference fee.

Price: 35 EUR

Payment: To be made in cash on the 14th and 15th of June to the conference organizers. Receipts will be organized upon request.

Menu: buffet dinner plus various hors d'oeuvres. There will be vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options available. The 35 EUR also includes welcome drinks and beverages.

 

We previously asked you to express your interest in attending the conference dinner in the registration form. If your intention to attend or not has changed, please do get in contact with me and Heidy Meriste (OslerL1@cardiff.ac.uk and heidy.meriste@gmail.com).

 

Pre-conference workshop

Our EPSSE Pre-Conference Workshop "Emotions – More Like Stars or Constellations?" will be held on Wednesday 14th June. If you are interested in attending but have not yet registered, please contact Heidy Meriste (heidy.meriste@gmail.com).

 

Conference receipts/proof of attendance

If you require a receipt for your conference fee or a proof of attendance letter, please do get in contact with me. For the receipt, I will need to see some kind of evidence of the payment (a screenshot of the money leaving your bank account will do ).
